“Sports Meet 2082” Kicks Off at Rajaji Ramji Secondary School in Inaruwa-2

Rajaji Ramji Mahato (Das) Secondary School in Inaruwa-2, Sunsari has inaugurated the “Rajaji Ramji Sports Meet 2082.” The multi-day event aims to promote students’ physical fitness, discipline, competitive spirit and overall personality development.​

The opening ceremony was chaired by school principal Ram Sagar Mehta, with School Management Committee chair Bodhanarayan Mehta as chief guest and ward member Birendra Mehta as special guest. The program began with the chief guest throwing a volleyball to formally open the meet, followed by march-past and sports demonstrations by students.​

Throughout the sports meet, students will compete in kabaddi, volleyball, javelin throw, shot put, blow-the-ball, long jump, high jump and other events from Magh 21 to 23. Speakers at the event stressed that sports help build leadership, cooperation and self-confidence, and called for such activities to be organized regularly. Active participation from teachers, parents and the local community added more excitement to the program.
